Repositioning Artisight as The Smart Hospital Platform

The Challenge

Artisight had built a powerful ambient AI platform, but with no established category, buyers evaluated it alongside telesitting and virtual care vendors. The company was building something bigger than a point solution. Competitors were circling similar territory — but no one had defined the new category yet.

The Solution

I facilitated a cross-functional positioning strategy workshop and led competitive analysis to identify a white space no one had claimed. I recommended Artisight define and lead the category as The Smart Hospital Platform — repositioning the company from a virtual care solution to enterprise healthcare infrastructure.

  • Developed the messaging framework — tagline, problem, solution, value proposition, and benefits

  • Created vertical-specific audience statements and platform description

  • Authored What is a Smart Hospital? — the category-defining narrative that gave the market language for what Artisight was building

  • Translated messaging into website copy and sales enablement

  • Led booth copy, ads, and video scripts for HLTH 2023 and ViVE 2024

The Results

  • Relaunch strengthened Artisight's positioning ahead of its $42M Series B

  • Within months of launch, competitors updated their messaging in response

  • Increased share of voice by 50% as Smart Hospital visibility grew

  • 653K impressions, 4K clicks, and 2,000+ conversions from Smart Hospital campaign activation around ViVE 2024

  • 90K impressions and 690+ conversions from Smart Hospital paid search

  • Reduced bounce rate by 12 points following messaging and SEO update

If you don't define the category, buyers will — and they'll often get it wrong. You can't play it safe and stand out at the same time.
